Practice your student visa interview before it counts
Pick your destination track, sit a 10-question mock interview, and get officer-lens feedback after every answer: what the officer hears, what helps, and what raises a flag. At the end you get a verdict report scored across study plan, funding, home ties, consistency, and delivery, with your two weakest questions named.
A practice tool, plainly stated: the questions here are the commonly reported student visa interview questions that prep guides discuss. They are not official consulate questions. This simulator is not affiliated with any embassy, consulate, or government, and no practice tool can guarantee a visa outcome.
Choose your interview track
The core questions stay the same across tracks. The wording changes where the real process differs: US F-1 interviews test non-immigrant intent and home ties, while UK credibility interviews probe whether the study plan itself is genuine.
Applying to Canada or Australia? Those study permits are usually assessed on paper, with no interview in most cases, so there is no separate interview track for them here. Use the general practice track; the same themes still decide how strong your written application sounds.
Two free completed interviews per day on this connection; after that, an email unlocks unlimited interviews for the rest of the day. Feedback after each answer is always free.
You finished an interview whose verdict is still locked.
Pick the answer closest to what you would actually say. There is no timer, and the feedback is the point.

Where to practice
No weak answers to flag: every answer scored full marks under this rubric. Keep the same specifics in the real interview, and do not let good answers get longer under pressure.
Want a human-style run-through of the full interview? VisaMock, the paid product from Global Study Consulting, does mock visa interviews with recorded answers and scored feedback, $9.99 per session.
How scoring works
- Points. Each answer scores 0 to 3 points on its question's dimension. The 10 questions cover 5 dimensions, 2 questions each: Study plan clarity, Funding credibility, Home ties and intent, Consistency, and Answer quality and confidence. Your total runs from 0 to 30.
- Practice bands. 24 to 30: Interview-ready. 15 to 23: Nearly there. 0 to 14: Risky right now. These bands come from this practice rubric only. They are not a prediction of any real visa decision.
- Weakest questions. Your practice list shows your two lowest-scoring answers below full marks, lowest first, with ties in interview order. Each comes with the feedback for the answer you gave and a practice line drawn from that question's strong-answer pattern.
- What this is not. This simulator is not affiliated with any embassy, consulate, or government. The questions are commonly reported interview questions, not official consulate questions, and no practice tool can guarantee a visa outcome.
